Fund life-saving treatment

Your donation funds treatment

The treatments that cure breast cancer exist. Surgery, chemotherapy, hormone therapy — proven, effective, and out of reach for millions of women in low-income countries. Your donation bridges that gap, funding treatment access for women who would otherwise go without.

Where your money goes

🔬

Surgery access

Many women in low-income communities receive a diagnosis but cannot afford the surgery that could save them. Your donation funds the bridge from diagnosis to the operating table.

💊

Chemotherapy & hormone therapy

Tamoxifen costs pennies per day in the UK. For a woman in an underserved community, a full course is unaffordable without support. We fund treatment courses directly.

🩺

Diagnosis & screening

Treatment is only possible once a cancer is found. We fund mobile screening units to reach women who have never had a mammogram — the essential first step to treatment.

Treatment changes everything

The difference between surviving and not surviving breast cancer is almost entirely about whether you receive treatment — and whether it starts early enough.

  • Funds surgery, chemotherapy and hormone therapy
  • Covers diagnosis and biopsy costs for referred women
  • Targets communities with the lowest survival rates
  • Mobile screening to find cancers at a treatable stage
  • Initiative of World Aid Network, London

The treatment gap

Stage 1 survival (with treatment) 98%
Stage 4 survival (late diagnosis) 26%
Survival in low-income countries ~40%

Treatment that arrives in time — at Stage 1 or 2 — is curative in most cases. Your donation funds that difference for women who have no other way to access care.
