How do I donate Bitcoin to a breast cancer charity?
To donate Bitcoin to charity, copy the verified wallet on World Aid Network’s Donate Bitcoin page — not this site. Breast Cancer Charity is a WAN campaign and does not publish BTC addresses. Converted sterling funds WAN’s Emergency Disaster Fund, not a mammogram on this checkout. Gift Aid is not claimable on Bitcoin gifts.
Who this is for: Supporters holding native Bitcoin who want to give through World Aid Network, parent of this campaign.
Who this is not for: anyone expecting this page to show a BTC address; anyone assuming Bitcoin funds a mammogram; anyone sending wrapped BTC or another asset.

Open World Aid Network to donate bitcoin to charity. Copy only the published bech32 address. Send native BTC from your wallet or exchange.
Exchanges often charge a withdrawal fee and may send from a pooled address. That is normal. Email [email protected] if you need a receipt and can identify the transaction.
A £25 card gift on Donate is still the path that funds one complete screening. Bitcoin does not buy that tier.
Why is the Bitcoin wallet on World Aid Network?
Breast Cancer Charity is a campaign name. Trustees publish one Bitcoin address on the parent site so donors have a single source of truth. A second BTC string on this domain would be a gift to phishing sites.
If a search result, QR flyer or direct message shows a different Bitcoin address, ignore it. The WAN Donate Bitcoin page is the source.
Other coins are not this wallet. Use donate ethereum to charity or the matching WAN page for USDT, Solana and BNB.
What Bitcoin can I send?
Native Bitcoin on the Bitcoin network only. Do not send Ethereum, USDT, Solana, BNB, or wrapped Bitcoin on another chain to the BTC wallet.
Lightning invoices, BRC-20 tokens and “BTC on Ethereum” are not native Bitcoin for this gift. If your exchange asks for a memo or destination tag, Bitcoin does not use one — stop and check you are on the Bitcoin network.
World Aid Network converts BTC to sterling on receipt and does not hold Bitcoin as an investment.
What does converted Bitcoin fund?
Sterling after conversion is allocated to World Aid Network’s Emergency Disaster Fund for food, water, hygiene kits and shelter. It is not earmarked for breast cancer screening, biopsies or hormone therapy on this campaign.
WAN publishes typical partner kit costs in sterling on its crypto giving hub. Markets move; the gift that buys kits is the sterling amount after conversion, not a later Bitcoin high.
To fund a mammogram, use Fund a mammogram or Donate.
Does Gift Aid apply to a Bitcoin donation?
No. Gift Aid is for gifts of money from UK taxpayers. HMRC treats cryptoassets as property. Registration for World Aid Network is also still in progress (application 5290505). Seek independent advice on Capital Gains Tax.
Do not assume a “no gain, no loss” CGT treatment applies until WAN is a qualifying charity and your own facts match HMRC’s rules.
Card Gift Aid status: Gift Aid.

Only send native Bitcoin on the Bitcoin network. Wrapped BTC, Ethereum, Solana, BNB or any other asset sent to that wallet is usually lost. This page never lists the address.
